Hello chess.com users, i am having a problem. I think that there should be no game archives for other players to see your games. Some idiot who I will not name posted some of my games on a topic just to humiliate me. I think that there should be no games archives so that there can be no more of this stuff. Your thoughts?

    1. Games may be embarrassing but they're nothing to hide away. It would be a shame to take this feature away just to save your ego.

    2. If this guy is really a jerk, and you've checked to make sure you're not just somebody who cries about everything, then you can report the dude.

@ hedgehog; but you seem to have no problem with an OP who posted a 1min game and gloating about it.

oh you saw that topic. Good then you must have seen the comment where I said there is a difference between posting your own games but then posting someone elses games to make fun of them. Really, are you going to agree with that?!!

Btw where was the gloating in the topic. Sorry i didnt see any.

Posting of games is not the problem in either case, the issue is that people are douchey about it, either inflating themselves or attacking others.

No no no no no...I wasnt embarrassed about that game. I was angry that this guy posted a game that was somebody else's without asking their permission. It is not in his authority to post games that have nothing to do with him just to humiliate someone.

We all do embarassing things sometimes.

    This is human.

But doesn't mean right to publiscise these ?
