A "gentleman" just opened a new account:

 http://www.chess.com/members/view/killallniggz

Being the civic-minded individual I am, I tried to report abuse, but alas this possibility was denied to me when I was unable to read some code that I would have needed to enter.  So I am now trying to do the next best thing, and let the rest of you know about it, so that hopefully one, or many, of you might do what I could not, and together we can put this "gentleman" in his place.

Yes, thank you for reporting this. We have disabled the account as it is not an appropriate username for the site.

Thanks to whoever sorted this out but the link to name needs removing out of this thread as it has the name in it.

Thank you Zach -- getting this one right is more important than any chess game, right?

Anybody can set up an account and use whatever user name they wish.  It would be hard to set up a filter, so I guess we need to catch these the old-fashioned way.

That is one possibility.  Another possibility is that the mother is the Grand Wizard of the clan.  Not always, but sometimes this sort of thing does run in the family.

in the future please use the Report Abuse link found at the bottom of any page. it is much more effective than using the forums.
