Im sure this has crossed many peoples minds, one of which was mine.

Chess.com seems to have grossly off CC and live ratings. Ill use myself as an example.

OTB - I am usually rated 1600, however on Chess.com CC I am currently 1793! Only another win from 1800, 200points, a full division off target. ( I wish I was that good.) Then - on live chess, (blitz for the most part) I am right around 1400 - 200 points less than my OTB, and 400 points off my CC rating.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct these innacuracies? Also more examples are welcome.

Ratings are relative, e.g. at ICC people had up to 3700 - so what. They don't (and actually can't) be tied to the OTB ones since it's a completely different activity.

Then there really is no problem, makes enough sense to me, thanks! =)
