could anyone tell me how the rating system works on chess.com .i have played people who were rated above 1450,and beaten them yet my best result says my best win is against  a player rated in the 1300`s. it doesnt really make any difference but it would be nice to know how the rating system works  

I believe it is the rating they became after you beat them (although it doesnt seem their rating would drop that much). Yeah, its their rating after the reduction that counts.
