Just a small reminder to everybody out there: if you are going to respond to a particular topic and post, actually bother READING the post and any responses associated with it. Neglecting to read is equivalent to a doctor publishing some work in an important field without even researching the subject - BAD idea.

I see this in Daily Puzzle posts (people explain the answer in post #20; post #200 asks for the explanation), other puzzle and game threads, and non-puzzle threads (people respond to a topic whilst utterly misunderstanding it because they only read segments and find particular keywords that seem to catch their eye).

Just a friendly reminder. =D READ!

I didn't ever insinuate SUCH an extreme - but it turned out funny! =D

Besides, I don't know if Fischer was the greatest! =/ Wait, I don't look at master games at all - how would I know?

I agree with you on this one , I too find it very annoying. That why I ask dailypuzzle to improve by putting some explaination and maybe  some varaitions
to say what happen if you had move something else instead. Very annoying.

That's probably true - I'm way above Internet forum posting! =P But I figured chess players might have more common sense. But, as I've often said:

Common sense is uncommon.

Good call, kco. But it might take a bit too long that way - after all, the puzzles are ones that already exist and are found by somebody and posted under the 'user' dailypuzzle. For the staff to actually solve and write variations might be too much work considering they have other priorities. =D

I posted a topic with title best 5 of all time, or something like that. And posted 10-15 best games of all time. And one of posts was - Carlsen!

Gee, thanks.  I love getting ordered about by faceless entities whom I know nothing about.

I'll try to sort it out, boss.

Now THAT was funny!  I laughed so hard I scared my g/f hahahaha.

On a more serious note, I completely agree!  Too many folks talk without listening.   :)
