How about showing ones live chess ratings on ones profile page?

like this...

 Live Chess Ratings:

Quick 1212

Blitz 1313

Slow 1414

This could be nice to make a live chess date with someone who's rating is near your own rating.

I would like to see how much you would enjoy the chess.com community without the non paying members. It will be hard finding suided opponents in a fashionable time. Or even try hosting a few big tournament without them.  Good luck!

People got their own reasons for not paying. Some are just being a Scrooge where others might simply just be to poor. Lets not stick it in their face everytime they make a remark on the forum. If you still got a problem with non paying members talking then just ask the admins to disable their posting rights. Good luck with that to!

My personal reason on the other hand is that i made about 8 people transfer to chess.com when we got the promise team vs team play would be enabled. 4 are paying members now. I will not as i am still not getting exactly what has been promised.

Maybe more cash means more resource allocation.

It goes both ways my Oranje friend.

Team play is on our list, but its not currently in development, so it'll be a while still, at least 4-6 weeks. First comes opening explorer and live chess integration.

Do you wanna buy my product X? It does not have what you want at the moment but with your money i might get enough resources.  You maybe get what you payed for and i will have a product i can resell many times thanks to you.

But lets stop this silly talk :)

They build this site modular.  You play for free and if you wanna make use of the other great features you pay for it. It's a good strategy.

We can drop it guys....the staff never has said anything like this, nor will we ever. We listen to ALL our users feedback. Yes, we do give extra support and attention to premium users, just as any company gives extra attention to their premium VIP customers. But, I replied to his request...its in the works, so we can just drop this. Its a non issue in my mind.
