some people always on vacation!

I know of some people on chess. com that are always on vacation! They make 1 move and then go on vacation for awhile. (but not always! They would run out of vacatoin time!) Shoudn't there be a limited time before people can go on vacation again?

Well, they only get about 5 weeks a year.  If they only make less than 4 moves, abort the game, it doesnt cost you.  Then play someone who wants to play. Smile

There are settings in place that limit the amount of vacation time a person can use every year.  If they just make one move, however, abort the game, it will not cost you anything.

People are always doing math these days. I didn't really follow along on the math when I read that.

Well, each member is allowed 40 days of vacation time per calendar year. At the beginning of each new year the vacation time will be refilled. The only restriction that is put on going on vacation is that you must have made your move in all your games before going on vacation. We have made this rule so that a player cannot avoid a certain game and use vacation for abuse.
