I think a robust Team Chess interface would do well to include all the features of Vote Chess displayed in the image above (minus voting) with a few additions:


1) If game conditions allow for the use of reference materials, then add links to Opening Explorer, Game Explorer, Endgame Explorer* where the position displayed on the game board is automatically plugged into the target links for convenient analysis.

2) Display more Game Conditions. It makes sense to me to remind everyone whether computer assistance is allowed/prohibited for every game. It seems that people often forget
(As in most games, where computer assistance is prohibited, the Endgame Explorer* should not use tablebases)

If there is a change your move button, I think there should be a limited number of times you can use it.

Please can we have a league table just to see how the other groups are performing?

natrix, good ideas. I can't think of anything but if I do, I will let you know

we are currently in the planning stages for all team stuff. there will be team vote chess and then team vs. team tournaments.

A Chess.com world cup where, say, Each country uses there top 10 players to play a team tournament against other top countries. You could have leagues like the davis cup (Tennis competition) where you have Continental groups and then a world group at each different rating range. You get promoted and Detmoted if you finish In the top two or the bottom two respectivly?
