    I wish I knew the queen pawn openings so that I could follow this stuff better but I'm pretty much an e-pawn person. Still, I can follow the middle-game positional play. Timman's commentary is definitely better than Short's (for me at least). Hope there is not too much Russian art today.

    Gelfand keeps getting good chances game after game. I like white's position here, the two bishops look good and Anand's rook looks awkward on c5?
