I really don't understand how on earth Gelfand could not see what a average player can see.

who are the commentators names?

Look at post #17 on the first page of this thread, and you'll see which commentators for which gamesSmile

That's what I thought too but the GMs seem to think that things are actually cooling down to a draw Frown. 26 ... Rb8 now for the draw, supposedly.

All_ways_winner

Sorry I did not see Gelfand has option of Rb8

All_ways_winner

It's heading towards draw

keju

It's ended?? Draw?

All_ways_winner

He he he it's draw

keju

Tyrsts, have you even finished your chai? Frown

All_ways_winner

Anand should change his name to Drawnand

DRAW! Five games and five draws. I wonder if this has ever happened in a world chess championship?

Well, the score remains tied, 2.5 - 2.5. One win could be all that is needed in this one. Thank you for all your comments everyone! I'll see y'all tomorrow, same time, same threadLaughing

1985 match between Kasparov and Karpov. At one point there were 10 consecutive draws.

Or Drawis.

Very Bory Gelfand

fabelhaft

Two whites in a row for Gelfand now should mean that the probability of two more draws, to begin with, is rather high.

The Kasparov-Anand match in 1995 started with eight draws but then it had five decisive games in the following six and I don't see something like that happening here.
