So would I, but we wouldn't be playing Anand or Gelfand
Good point Trysts
But here's another thing I am always amazed by. Timman found 26 ... g6 obvious, and clearly so did Anand! I must be blind

From their games till now it is obviously that they are not willing to take risks.12 games are very few.One win may give a decisive advantage to the winner.
Ya it has been pretty close so far!
What does NIIT on Anand's t-shirt stand for? Some institute of technology in India?
trysts
Houdini's first line is draw by perpetual check. It is a very calm game compared to the last one.

Quite obvious that the last thing Gelfand wants is a draw ...

There's a tie break? I thought 6-6 and the current champ kept his title.
Is it considered improper in this situation for Anand to offer a draw? Should he wait for Boris do so instead?
Anand looks like he's ready...
Yep. Tie-breaks if necessary.
Anand is very well prepared in Slav.Gelfand should change his strategy or unleash a well -prepared novelty if he wants to have some chance for a win with white.
Darn, again. The moves that the GMs find obvious, like Black's last two moves of b6 and Rd6. Not obvious to me at all. Obvious only after I hear the explanation.
He sure does. He looks almost annoyed.
Well, I definitely prefer Aronian to Kramnik, Anand or Gelfand.
Anand is Scottish?
Yes , his family were highlanders

How we 16oo's play!!!! No draws with us. Bang, bang bang, win! Bang, bang, bang, lose!
There is always a result
Maybe tomorrow on their rest day, these guys should play with us and we will sure give them a run for their money, hehe
Orsh, a Celtic fan then?
There definitely wouldn't be a draw if I played Anand.
