I'd go for a ice cream drum stick, Tony.

My post may be counter-intuitive because I'm not talking about chess either, but don't get smart with me; set that aside and listen to what I'm trying to communicate.  It's a valid point.

I was just going to say that

Kindhearted, awesome, fun, friendly threads aren't what Photray was feeling, it was just the petty sniping.

Oh, you prefer that do you Jean?

Alllriiiiight, uhhh, I think SuiteLycee is a cheater and she's exactly what's ruining chess.com at the moment.

/am I doing it right? mwahaha

I have an evil twin Rael? Oh crap.... I thought I wasthe evil twin. I've really gotta check those syringes better. Keep an eye out for future brain droppings by the one and only forum-stopping Chessroshi, coming to a screaching halt near you. Like I posted in another topic, I'm switching over from internet leisure player to serious student starting July 4th 2009. What that means for chess.com peoples is that I'll be kicking out what I hope is quality content as I assimilate anything I learn into nice tasty chess nuggets for y'all to snack on.

Personally, I prefer all of the "drama"

I think there's a good mix actually.  If I want to read drama and laugh...it's usually available.  If I want to check out someone's latest "pretty" mate in seven moves, that's available too.  If I want to randomly add my thoughts on any random chess topic...that's available.  For real chess information, the articles have become plenty.  What else does one want?

There's something addictive about drama, doncha think?  Of course, not all addictions are good, but are all addictions bad?  To me the forums are and should be  places to educate, elucidate, vent, complain, brag and have fun. They should also be a mixture of the bland and  the exciting, the serious and the absurd, the personal and the mundane, those worth preserving and those that are throw-away.  And folks can respond to the threads that strike a nerve.  It's all so simple that even I've gotten the hang of it.

Life is a daring adventure or nothing.

Life without drama is unlivable for the intelligent mind.

Yes, all addictions are bad, but some of them sure are fun!

I think that a strictly enforced rule of proper spelling will help the topics to become more mature - people without brains to spell correctly will not be able to start threads.

Some allowments must be made for foreginers, through.

"Foreigners as well, I guess"
