EDIT: Issue has been resolved. ChessTV is open to Platinum members. =)

I just went to Chess.com/tv to double-check what time "Your Games Analysed" starts tomorrow, as I wasn't able to catch the show the last couple weeks and forgot, and I found that ChessTV is "currently limited to Diamond Members and above."

SOOOOO upsetting is this to me, a user who adored the ChessTV offerings. And also I'm confused by their "Diamond Members and above" ; is there anything above?? =/

Anyway, this is really BS in my opinion; I can see it being kept from Gold Members because it's fairly cheap, but Premium Members too??? I think I just might cry... =P

man that is so sad. its a hard knock life.

anyway, it's pretty clear when you sign up for premium what you get.

if its such a big deal to you..upgrade.

that's obviously the incentive to go diamond. access to better stuff. and a giant 'blinging' jewel next to your name.

I don't know if this is true or not, but according to the site membership you should be allowed full access.

Obviously something needs to be clarified.

Only those who are truly devoted to supporting chess.com deserve to watch the Chess.com TV. If you already have platinum membership, what's stopping you from going the extra mile and getting diamond (or above)?

At my current financial state (poor college student), I can't afford that "extra mile" (or double, actually) for few more benefits, though Chess Mentor is definitely worth it. =) It's just not worth it to me now. I would if I could.

Diamond used to be lifetime, and I'm pretty sure that for those that opted for it prior to the change the lifetime term was grandfathered.  It's not a different membership level, just a different term.

sorry - it should be limited to platinum and above most of the time, and open to everyone occassionally. sorry about the mistake!
