When are we having chess tournys erik i have been waiting for some time do you know when if you are coming out with it.

Couldn't the chess.com members just start their own?

I suppose it would have to be decided what type of play would go on, and who would be able to play. My concern is that people already employ devious methods to inflate their rating, I wonder about a tournament. I think it'd be cool to have a tournament amongst the titled members of chess.com, or chess.com members vs. a titled member (we would vote on a move each day).  

Tournaments are definitely on our list of things to do. However, it still may be some time before we have tournaments on the site. We just came out with the Chess Mentor program which we are still trying to perfect and we are working very hard to update and improve the live chess which is still in beta test versions.  We thank you for your patience in this matter. Please know that the Chess.com staff is constantly hard at work trying to improve the site.
