How do you unsubscribe from a topic that you've posted in? I'd rather not get updates about the "Chess Story" thread, but I can't see any obvious way of unsubscribing from it.

No, that box is unchecked. It's just a thread I made one post in ages ago, and now it keeps resurfacing in the Topics I have Posted In section.

Delete your main Post (The first post)

Then it shouldnt be your topic anymore.

No, I didn't create the topic, I just made a couple of posts in it way back. It's got something like 4,000 posts so I'd rather not trawl through them all looking for the posts I made so I can delete them.

you can't change "topics i have posted in". that is just a record of where you have posted. you can't unpost...

Oh i get it now..

why does it matter though/

Let it be on the top of the I posted in Section, it wont bug ya.. but the other thing where it updates and tells you that new comments are posted are more annoying.

I don't get the big deal?  If you go to the list of topics you posted in that thread appears in the list, it may be a long list or short. You don't have to open up the thread, it's just one line on a list.  It's not like it's giving you "alert" messages every time you log on is it?
