sorry everyone - bad news. for the last 2 weeks we've been running scripts to update the game explorer (to fix en passant transposition errors, to include all chess.com echess games played, to remove bogus games, and to update with recent quality games). today we realized that there was an error in the script. doh. now we have to start over. explorer updates have been pushed back by 2 weeks. very sorry.

What's a "bogus game."

Is this where the 2 players are obviously just fooling around. I have come across a few of these.

 Yeah, either that or two amatuers are trying their best.

I've seen a few games where it is obvious the players are just trying to set up stalemates or the like.

seems like opening explorer has had a lot of games removed now.  For example nothing in there anymore for 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Qf6.  I guess those were some of the "junk games" removed?

no ability to search all chess.com games yet though.
