There is a problem with vote chess games timing out, especially for small groups. If no one submit a vote or make a comment when looking at the game, first time, then there is nothing to allert the members, when it's about to time out.
It would be nice if Chess.com provided a list of the vote games we're playing, on our homepage, or if the games were added to the current games list that already exist.
One more thing: How do I turn off the tracking of a vote chess game, when I have quit the group playing it (the stop tracking box no longer appears)?
There's no need to. If you joined the vote chess game, there should be an alert signalling that it is your group's turn to move.
Leave the game.
Actually, the OP has a point, and it's not only small groups.
In one game, in a fairly large group, there was a lot of discussion on the 1st day, and everybody decided to wait until later. But, no more alerts, and eveybody just forgot to to return to the game, and we timed out.
It's not so, asampedas. If no one makes a comment when looking at the game, first time, then there is nothing to allert the members, when it's about to time out.
Your helpful spirit is cherished, asampedas, but this you surely have little knowledge about (?).
What is the meaning with this forum, if there are no one from the staff commenting on the issues being discussed?
It's a good idea actually that you should be able to see your vote games in your game list with the remaining time available before voting. It's quite easy to forget the game after the initial it's your move alert. However, there are a lot of forums and staff may not have seen this yet.
I would suggest you put the request in this forum instead

AS for the game you left I'm afraid you need to deselect the tracking option before you leave the game.
I had no chance, MM78. I was "kicked out" by one of the dictators running one of the groups, here at Chess.com. Now I'll have the 7 day vote chess game, that we just started, running for probably a year or two ...
Thanks, for your tip, though! I'll have a go at the wishlist.
