This Thursday we in the USA celebrate Thanksgiving. So lets start a long tread here! We all have something to be thankful for so lets share.

For me it would be my three boys, ages 28, 25, and 5 (yes five)

I am thankful for this day, made by the universe, and there is no other. I thank God that I am happy, joyous and free. Lets all dance and play chess.

I'm thankful for being so immersed in modern conveniences that I take it all for granted.

I'm thankful that the University of Michigan taught me how to spell better than OSU teaches its buckeyes.  Wink

I'm thankful to be driving the Billium Mobile again (it's been without an engine for the last 5 years - just got it back on the road again yesterday).  Cool

I'm thankful for my wonderful daughter whom I love so much that I let her have a cat even tho I'm allergic to it.  Cry

I'm thankful that, despite our divorce, my ex-wife and I really are still very good friends (you hear so many horror stories).  Kiss

I'm thankful to be living in the greatest country in the world (no offense to all the others).  Tongue out

I'm thankful to be working again after months of no income.  Money mouth

I'm thankful for a God who loves me and died for me.  Innocent

I'm thankful that I can walk, talk, see, hear, and breathe (when the cat's not around).  Sealed

I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food in my stomach.  Foot in mouth

I'm thankful for all the wonderful people I've met, and all the wonderful times I've had here at Chess.com.  Smile

I'm thankful for smiley faces.  Laughing

363,000 members, and only 8 are thankful for something?  I recognize that Thanksgiving is not a holiday in most countries, but still.  Everyone has something to be thankful for, and it's never a bad time to remember/acknowledge your blessings.

I'm thankful that we humans haven't blown ourselves to smithereens yet!

I'm thankful that we still have hope. Among other things.

I'll be thankful when the bossman* leaves work. I'm starving and I've got a sandwich in the fridge that is getting destroyed once he's gone.

* I mean the guy that is in charge of my work and not the ex wwf star The Big Boss Man http://www.lacoctelera.com/myfiles/quefuede/Big-Bossman0000005.jpg

He's much camper than I remembered.

*Edit - he's gone!!!

Althought I'm not from the USA, right now I'm thankful for having a job. Difficult times for many people.
