Today i was minding my own bussiness on the website and i randomly went to a soda taste test website. I didn't click anything or do anything. Can someone tell me what happened and did this happen to anyone else?

Perhaps you have spyware on your computer?  Download and run Spybot: Search and Destroy.

Hmm, the only thing that could have happened then is that you accidentally clicked on an advertisement.  Can you remember what you were looking at when you were redirected to the soda website?

Yeah, the soda page came up. It was the weirdest thing. I didn't click an ad or anything. (I'm pretty sure)

Good to know I'm not the only one who had that happen.

They're called hi-jackers, some of the free-ware on the web, will put a redirect in your browser, as well as Web and keystroke trackers. Overwriting security on some firewalls. Check the program control of yur firewall, if you see something you don't recognize, deny access, disable 3rd party cookies, and clean the cache. Keep a record of what you do. If you've downloaded  anything new in the last couple of days, try a restore date on yur pute prior to the install. Run malicious software removal tool and check your add remove programs in the control panel. Some are self replicating requiring a line by line in the Reg editor. Some bogus spyware progs only eliminate a chosen few while installing their own. Happy hunting. Are you using Road Runner for the Internet? They've had issues with port pingers parking on the servers. Those are a little harder. Since I changed from IE 7 to Firefox 3 my grandson doesn't get into half the problems he used to. Neither do I.
