I love badminton, played it in high school and was seriously addictive (and much more athletic than say baseball)

I like watching association football as well. I don't mind Canadian/American football. I play it and am pretty good but don't watch it a lot.

Much American football *is* soccer, you know - almost all of Latin American football, for example. Perhaps you mean Football (U.S.A.) ?
I learnt most of the games by myself. So...
I enjoy playing chess (oops, you said not including chess - ok, here goes:), checkers, table-tennis/ping-pong (I learnt latter by playing flat and top-spin against the wall - on which I drew rectangles to increase precision - and became the third best player in class). I also enjoy watching football, tennis, badminton, cricket, hockey - gymnastics (both men's and women's - you have got a dirty mind), swimming...
