Who is better in 2011, Korchnoi or Karpov?

    They played in 1978. Karpov won. They played in 1981. Karpov won. Karpov was the superior player of the two for two decades.

    Korchnoi is 80. Karpov is 60.

    Who is better today? I think it's Korchnoi, which is amazing.

    Korchnoi played a few draws against Yudasin almost 20 years ago, around the time when the latter was a Candidate and lost a match against Kramnik. Yudasin is only 52 and lost against Kamsky a couple of months ago but is lower rated than Korchnoi nowadays and would maybe find it harder to get those draws now.
