491,774  members now, and I do believe there is great chance we see the 500,000th member come to this wonderful small world in this week.

let's find who the 500,000th member is at that BIG BIG DAY.

Yes 500k is a hell lot of members. Simply because chess.com is the greates chess site there is. I simply love this page, and i probably spend way to much time here.

That being said. I notice that as we are soon 500k members on this page, there is only 100k + games going on. Thats not a very big number, considering most active players in here have 5+ games going on. There has to be a looot of members that just register and never comes back...(thats a shame)...does anybody now how many active members there actually are on chess.com?

people come, people go. for some chess.com is a quick convenience. for others, it's a religion :) most people are in the middle somewhere. but yes, many people never come back.

How many birds like me play chess, I know an Owl that plays

If we all pay Erik 1 dollar he can retire, shall we do it ?
