Brooklyn48 started the whole thing when he cussed at me and then I cussed back and we were both warned. Then he cusses at me again! How many warnings does a person get before they get banned?  The guy knew to stop cussing but didnt so is it anything goes here or what? Maybe its not what you know but who you know,,, IDK. The guy didnt have to start cussing again for no good reason I know that.

Its only fair if he can voice his oppion again that I can voice mine.

One warning is all it takes for me, this senile old codger done it again and my guess would be anybody else is at risk being insulted that plays him, because he has no respect.

Out of all the people i played here he is the only one to give me problems and if you guys wana let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch then thats your biz. Being American I believe in freedom of speech, but this it not my site and its like being in somebody elses home and I respect that. I know if somebody is in my home and I ask them not to do something then there out the door if they do it again.

I hope that nobody else has the problems with this guy, if you do then you cant say you wasn't warned.

The best thing to do is just click "disable chat" when anyone starts getting feisty. A few beers, hiding behind the monitor, brings out people's bad selves. At the first "HURRY UP!" or "RESIGN!" just sign off and say ciao, I'm no longer chatting with you. Go pour yourself a hot mug of coffee, kick your feet back, and enjoy the silence of the game of kings.

agreed, yet i do like to make smalltalk wen playing, and id rather skip the coffee. Yet you need to be aloud more then 1 warning  FTW, have had accidents wear i mixed up a Swedish word with an English word, and got band for it... (not a chess site)

In a private chat, if both players take part, I see no problem with telling somebody to F off.  I would never take part personally, though.  I tend to be very amused by people cussing at me.  Whether it be on a computer or in real life, I find few things funnier than irrational, irate people.  They're so easy to provoke once they start showing their teeth.  All you have to do is smile and be polite.  That pisses 'em off more than anything.
