very simple

Without knowing it was "mate in 2," the 1.e5... 2.d6+ sequence jumped out as the best choice - then it turned out that the knight and bishop had all escape squares covered - checkmate.

Took a minite,but was able to solve 1.e5...Nc3, 2.Rd6#,Thank'sChess.Com.Good day chess head's.The K really was stuck you just had to find a way to check,and you had two move's to do it,was able to see the pawn and R would fit the bill.Nice puzzle!!!

Really quite straightforward when you see it but not obvious to me at first.
