even if pawn captures N 2.Qh5 is mate,i think black knew it was over,probably resigned,but it came from real game so that must have been the outcome,i thought pawn would take N,but seen it did not matter,good read though.

The missing Sunday puzzle on Tuesday.

Knight checks are so devastating - opponent must either move the king
(1. ... Kh7, 2. Qxg7# because the knight also covers the adjacent diagonal square)
or he must capture the knight (with the g6 pawn, opening the alley for 2. Qh5#).

Of course, the knight move had to be a check, because it left the interposed bishop unprotected, and the black queen was poised for ... Qxf1#.

Hardest part of the puzzle was trying to pronounce the title

Sounds like fun, but how do you judge "best."  So subjective.  As bad as a "cutest baby" contest.

Sounds like you still do not see that after Nf5 and gxf5, Qh5 is mate.

there is possibilty for black to delay mate
