The ole' famous Queen Sacrifice! Thanks for the lesson!
A bit hard
Good day; bonne journée.
What if the opposition captures the queen with the f7 pawn instead of the h7 pawn?
moving the f7 pawn places black in check because of the whites bishop on c4.
Black had no viable options. His f-pawn is pinned.
1. ... Kh8, 2. Bf6#
after 1. ... hxg6, there is nothing black can do to prevent or interrupt the 2. Bf6 .... , 3. Rh8# sequence.
very nice and instructive.
Great puzzle,unline the one yesterday,which stinks !
nice sacrifying queen.........
easy and nice
2nd page ow
when the solution looks hopeless, try a Queen sacrifice--I guess is the motto of these puzzles.
