You can mate without using the queen sacrifice.

    Highly ambiguous puzzle .

There are two different solutions even to give mate in 3 moves:

    Not only

    1.Qg5+ Kf8 2.Qh6+ Rxh6 3.Bxh6#,

    but also

    1.Qg3+ Kf8 (1...Kxf6 2.Qg5#) 2.Bh6+ Rxh6 3.Qg8#

    is mate in 3

That's what I tried.  Is anything missed?

Not bad but the sacrifice of the Q is too predictable. This is becoming a kind of pattern in these puzzles.

I just hate to sacrifice a queen.  I lose more games that way too!

Yes, a good puzzle, but I am with those above who are reluctant to give up the queen.  That comes with great difficulty.

Here is the actual game.  (Black actually won the game.  The roles were reversed for the puzzle in order to make it easier for discussion.  Also, the game ended after the 28th move, but the puzzle added the final moves to show us the final result.)

    .

    You are annoying.

    EDIT:

What I (Jacob30) meant to say was that I love you and your analysis's. It warms my heart to see you at the top of the first page sharing your wonderful genius with those (especially me, Jacob30) who look up to you as the man who helped us through this hard puzzles and is willing to help us understand and explain the reason of this and every puzzle. In fact, I am starting a Incredibill fan club on chess.com, of which I will gladly be President. And speaking of presidents, I would like to nominate incredibill for President of chess.com. Nay, I wish to nominate incredibill as the President of The United States Of America!!! WHO'S WITH ME?!?!
