actually we can do a mate in 1 with Qf3, and if you think the King can capture the Queen, the knight on g5 is protecting the Queen....

Sorry maxrookie but pawn at g4 takes queen !

This looks simple at first because any check that can't be taken or blocked will do - how hard can that be ? I got stuck on 2nd move concentrating too hard on where to move the queen - didn't think of moving the knight for some time. Still, got there in the end. Like that 'cage' the white knights make for the black king.
