if you go 1. Qh6, the response Re1# ends the game with you losing as white. You must check the king every move to prevent that.
too easy, could've been done without sacrificing the rook..
No, it couldn't have. If the queen moved first then white loses with the rook coming down to checmate.
why take the rook. it prevents checkmate
