i did not expect the rook sacrfice. the queen sacrifise is obvious, looking at the position of th rooks. also, moving thenight anywhere and putting your other rook down the side would have also mated. a very hard puzzle
The knight must go 2. Nd4+, where it attacks the f5 square. The knight cannot go 2. Ng3+, also attacking the f5 square, because it blocks the g1 rook.
The third move must be 3. Re8+, because if 3. Rg8+ Kxg8 4.Re8+ Kg7 5. Nf5+, black escapes with 5...Kg6.
Perhaps 3. Rg8+ can lead to an eventual mating net, but it will take a lot longer than the puzzle solution.
Bishop to F7
1. Bxf7 Rxe3 2. Rg8+ Ke7.

to me it was obvious that you had to sack a queen and a rook, but I could not figure out
which rook

I doubt black Q would make that move, unless he just said I'm beat and threw in the towel,I think it was mate in two, good idea though.Black Q may have made that move,he did not even move a piece on K side of board
Thank's for puzzle, made one mistake, neat though,I'f I end up in that position I resign, you could get lucky and get a stalemate but most player's are aware of that, neat puzzle
