I guess in a real game it would take me 30 minutes to work it out back in 1907..... 30 minutes was normal....30 minutes per move

Nice puzzle,I saced the Q just because it's the daily puzzle, from there I found the discovered check with ND4+...Kf8,needed help,Re8+...KxRe8,was able to see mate from there 4.Rg8+...Ke7, 5.Nf5#.I can't believe how smart these guy's are,to know you had to sac 2 major piece's to end up mating your oppenant is amazing.Thank's Chess.Com,good day chess head's.It looked like black had only one unforced move, 2.Nd4...Kd8,or Kf8,if he choses d8,it's the same finish 3.Rg8+...Ke7, 4.Nf5,but in 4 move's not 5.How do you set up a mate like that?Once again I'm wrong there's still a R on e8 so it would be mate 3 with Rg8# as your third move

Get the same mating pattern after 2...Qe5 trying and block the rook: 2...Qe5 3.Rg8+ Ke7 4.Nf5# as the queen is pinned against the king
