At first thought I was trying to solve for mate like all the other puzzles.

The correct moves were the ones I would have played even if I had not known it was supposed to be a puzzle. I'm not sure whether that makes it a good puzzle or a bad puzzle, but it is not the usual case.
Nf6 is a key square. I have solved this puzzle.
