qe8+ would have picked up the dark squared bishop so that should be able to work.
YEah It was easy. The tittle confuse me it says :

You do win a piece: the bishop that got away in the "correct" version.

first thought was to fork on e8, but then block and white bish miss...hehe, I think thats called tempo.
