an interesting puzzle
I'm pretty sure I forced a win after 2.Qh7
I agree mate in 3
Nice one, but quite easy !
White to play and win:
cool puzzle. I had to look up the solution.
Good puzzle today.Ill dedicate it to 'Glasgow Celtic Fc''.
Nice puzzle for picking exactly the right threats that lead to certain mate.
wouldn't Qh7 be a faster mate than Qg6?
In comment #39 yoyohoneysingh123 has given anand a win by1. Nf6+Kf82. Nxe8Nxe83. Qh8#
However, Carlson could have played 2. ... Qxe8 and prevented that immediate checkmate. Even so, Carlson would eventually lose on the trade of his rook for white's knight.
Not sure just how this comes from an actual game.
I'm so bad at chess!
Bishop to D4.
Very good indeed! Black can't save himself from a single pawn even though he has a bishop and three pawns, one of which is about to queen!
