    Not rubbish. If Black does QxQ, then White takes the Rook. A player at any level should be able to figure out what that means.

    I see the point. But, kind of a rule that is shoved down the throat. Take their Queen~! :D but, yes it does make a winning for the dude a bit more complex.

    Why do they call it Philidor's mate? In 1497 even Lucena showed this mate (queen's sac and knight mate)! They should call it Lucena's mate instead! Laughing
