demorei um pouco
What do these words mean?
"took me a while". once again, its portuguese. this chess site is used by people all over the world, not just the united states, so people often speak languases other than english, which is perfectly fine. (i say that just in case you are one of those crazy "speak english cause 'merica is the best" kind of people. lol.).
If i could make a suggestion, try using google translate.
Olen samaa mieltä. Toivon, että kuuntelee minua.
Selvfølgelig! Hvem ville ikke det?
En tiedä. Amerikkalaiset voivat olla itsepäinen paskiaiset. Itsepäinen ja tietämätön.
Wow! Google Translate works fairly well:
"I do not know. Americans can be stubborn ba$xxxd$. Self-headed and ignorant."
I disagree Jesus said that the Israelites were a stubborn stiff-necked people. I can get along without money but we are to be responsible for our position whether it involves money or not. I do not claim to be ignorant with over 15,000 games played. mostly with opponents from other countries. Most are nice gentlemen. Why some of the best people on here are Iranians. Others too. And the ones you think would be nice are not. Does not always matter what you say though it does sometimes it is what you stand for and what you believe that makes you act or refrain from acting.
thats an amazing amount of games played.
Not an easy thing believe me. The story is long and drawn out. It comes in bits and pieces everyday. Most of the time it makes sense. Other times non sense which seems to fit anyway. I had a great time doing it. It was a major part of my life. I enjoy many things in life and there are just about as many obligations too.
Hmm... not sure I follow the above any more than I followed this puzzle. I'm no good with long extended sequence plays in which each move seems to be vital - I just can't see it all in my mind. Didn't see the bishop sacrifice at all: In a real game I'd be holding on to every piece for grim death ! But I can understand it now. Lots more practice needed I think....
I know this one.
