Why Qa4 instead of Kb8 by black?
almost overlooked the pin...
bcoz instead of mate in 5 it will be m8 in 4.
after 1. ... Kb8:
2. Ra8+ Kxa8
3. Qa6 Kb8 (forced because of pinned b7 pawn)
Nice. Took me a while to realise why the next right move would be to send the rook to a8.
The queen survived again:)
bishop did a great job
Nice. Interesting. :]
Nice puzzle .. I needed to take help for first move... I thought the queen was hanging but it wasn't ... smooth & nice checkmate was hidden there.. happy .
