This isn't really a puzzle, more like opening knowledge and preparation. It's the Tarrash trap in the Steinitz variation of the Ruy Lopez where black's last move was 7... 0-0?

To me, Black lost when he played Rd5 at the end. Other than that, White might have an advantage, but this is by no means a forced series of moves.

Yes, it's an opening trap (by Tarrasch). Ruy Lopez (Spanish) is really rich of traps. (Honest, I had to play the solution because I was too lazzy for "a long calculation" this morning. Or am I simply tired at the end of the year?)
