once you use the rule of thumb for the daily puzzle,sac the Q you pretty much have solved it.you can keep K in check, 1.Qh7+...Kh7, 2.pg6+...Kh8, 3.Rh4+...Bh6, 4.RxBh6#.Why is it most daily puzzle's start off with a check? I believe I would not solve as many as I do,if you had to set up a move before being able to check.I allways try to start puzzle with a check,it seems that is how puzzle's start everyday.Thank's Chess.Com.Good day chess heads!

I agree,it's like you play puzzle's different than real game,especially sacing Q, it's a common move,as it was today and allot of other day's puzzle's.What you say is true,good quote!

Read post 12,I think you experienced what person was talking about,playing puzzle different than real game,with puzzle I allways look for Q sac as a start,where in real game I do not normally sac Q,unless it leeds to a mate I can clearly see,but I can't remember the last time I was in that position.
