That one took a bit of thinking!
nice... but it was hard for me.
good one "THE PERSON WHO MADE THIS UP IN THE FIRST PLACE
Forced and beautifull
Took me forever to find it with trial and error. My solution was 1 Qd8+ Kg7 2 Re6. The threat of Rg6+ forces Be4 and white wins the bishop but I usually miss mates like this anyway.
That's what I thought too, but I ruled it out after seeing the title. I never considered 2. Rxg5+, thinking that there would be no checkmate with just the queen and bishop, but I missed the h-pawn's involvement. The three working together and key escape squares for black being occupied made checkmate possible.
As you force the moves and play along the next move seems to just fall into place. I must admit that I couldn't foresee the checkmate location at the start but it just fell into place.
Tried it again. Missed the third move, again.
its an easy one
