you are mistaken, there is no mate in the near future, i see white getting up a rook from all this with a few different possible variations, black's first move would be Ng6. On a separate note, not that it matters much, but even if black starts by moving his king to the corner, white needs to more moves to mate: queen takes, and then black can block with knight, but hen NXf7 wins.
