My first move was Rc3. Why is this not acceptable?
Why can't the bishop take the rook (1...Bxd3)? Isn't that a draw?
trichy and needs good plan
I guess that would work too. In the game, black should manage both Ng6+ and Nf3+, after Rc3 the only mate is Nf3+, which should lead to the same line of play as in the game.
Except 1.Rh3+, 1.Nd3, 1.Rf2, all the other good moves might result in a win for white..have i missed something ?
Why can't you move the knight to g6 and checkmate?
g6 is covered by Black's bishop.
bxn....that's the point of rd4(block the b, bishop)
Nah this is dumb. If Black had played 2... Bxd3 white's strategy would have gone to pieces. They will the hanging rook piece which is the biggest threat to a mate and pin down the knight, giving them sufficient time to promote a pawn
I have engineered a new opening-any comments welcome
