on fmrko26's puzzle rather than black moving the bishop black should have moved the queen to f5, white is down pieces and can't afford the trade, if white moves away from the trade the black rook to a1 will put too much pressure on the white king
happy to see a difficult one! it's been awhile. cheers~
First!!! I just can't believe I'm FIRST!!! This MUST mean that I'm better than EVERYONE ELSE, right??
Good puzzle, btw
Actually being first doesn't do anything at all.Hard and good puzzle :)
Forty-first!!! I just can't believe I'm FORTY-FIRST!!! This MUST mean that I'm better than EVERYONE ELSE, right??Good puzzle, btw
p.s. At least I'm only WORSE than 40 people
Heheh...I like! Nice one
"Can someone please tell me why black queen couldn't defend by moving to C7 on move #2?"
Next moves: Qa1, Qc1/Qd1, Qxc1/Qxd1 checkmate
I'm sensing another queen sacrifice coming on...oh...nope...WHAT?! I thought WHITE was going to be doing the sacrificing! :)
BEING FIRST DOESN'T DO ANYTHING AT ALL???!!
OH NO, MY LIFE IS RUINED! RUINED, I TELL YOU...
that aws pretty hard and i liked the way u dont always have to get a check in it
Can someone please tell me why black queen couldn't defend by moving to C7 on move #2?
that would open up A8 for the white queen which shortens the mate...
a very fine puzzle methinks!
The puzzle sucks!
Qa8+ and it's mate in 1.
on move #2 black Q to c7 is way better than sacrificing it for nothing...might not have prevented checkmate but still way better
mate in five that was surely jive
