Not bad...I liked this one! Though I honestly expected c7 to be the first move instead of another queen sacrifice. Still a very nice puzzle!

one move and mate...
The rook could take the bishop. Then Q takes rook.
Then Q takes queen and then you start to realize you're the idiot that didn't neutralize the back rank rook before giving up that bishop. Seriously, where are all these people talking about pushing the pawn for mate in one coming from??
I just got distracted by something, and didn't finish what I meant to say.

One of those puzzles that seems too easy if you happen to play the correct first move without knowing why (not 1.c7 dis+,Rxf3 2.Qe8+,Rxe8 3.Rxe8+,Kb7), because after the queen sac it plays itself without a thought (don't even have to consider why black takes first with the rook on e8). Harder than it plays :)

Nice, puzzle
nice puzzle.. but easy
easy for friday!
Nice but easy.
the first thing you notice is the discovered check with the bishop, simultaneously advancing a pawn to a position threatening promotion and mate (if the threat to this new queen, the rook on the h row, is neutralized). When you realize too that you need to coordinate that with the combined queen-rook e-file attack to eliminate the black rook, everything falls into place.
got it on the first try... just have to stop and think about it for a minute.
Great!
Yeah, the discovered check was a dead giveaway. After that it's right out of "Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess." Still enjoyable though.
Why doesn't black take the queen with his bishop then have a rook on the back row to stop white's promotion.
Then the bishop would be blocking the rook and white still promotes.
what the first page??!! (: easy
