    not a really a checkmate puzzle, before people get mad, here's my reasoning

    checkmate puzzles usually force the opponent into a checkmate, meaning that the opponent has no possible option other than making those moves

    for example, the bishop move in this solution could be responded by moving the e8 rook to g8, checkmate in '6' is automatically shut down

    lame, as always, white king to g2 would have also ended the game the same way, so it is not a puzzle. I wonder how much more ads "chess.com" is gonna put out, its becoming more and more lair for ipod and isheep users.

    After 1.Bf6 why shouldnt black play Rg8? That would take away most of whites attack, but still allows them some defense on the open d file. If I were white, I would focus more on the open file. The suggested move is too easy to counter

    If black really wants to play Rg8 then play 1...Qxg2+ 2. Qxg2 Rg8 to extend the game one more move!Laughing
