It is very unusual indeed. But I like it. Does anyone know when it was played and by whom?
that was fun.... and easy.
I always find it interesting when a pawn promotes to a piece other than a queen. I guess in some situations it can be useful, like the one shown in this puzzle.

Maybe the underpromotion gets to mate quickest, but I suspect there were alternatives.
Kf6 is also valid, no?
