so what happens if black didnt take the N?

u play g4 check and then give check with knight to h6......
Best for white is a perp. check....nf6 + and ng4+.

    See post #57! I think after 2 Nf6+ Kh6 3 Qe7 White is winning! Wink
Although Black has a check on f3, but the mate on h7 forces Black to find a defence! I think there is no defence to this threat! Cool

This is MATE IN 5! Can you find it?

    http://jornalheiros.blogspot.com/2013/04/xadrez-mate-em-5.html

    1. Rxf7+; Kxf7 (If Kd8 2. Qd7#)

    2. Qxe6+; Kg7 (If Kf8 3. Qf7#)

    3. Qf7+; Kh8 4. Qxh5+; Kg7 5. Qh6#

I have solved these puzzles sometimes, and enjoyed them.  But I couldn't see the solution today.  I am grateful to Ramaish would posted the solution.  I suppose I was totally dependent on some-one posting a solution to the puzzle?
