That's the essence of chess playing....mating the opponent successfully!
samarjit1987
this is not a good one...move of king will not not satisfy the checkmate requirement....

kdeath11
could have taken the queen if instead on move 3 you played Ne6+
Lincolm
Smart knight.
wooknight
nice one but your solution hinges on the NxQ , but the K could take the Q too and in which case the attack falls flat
mauriciolopezsr
The King can NOT take the Queen because is protected by the Knight on E6, only the K or the R can take!
Eris_Discordia
Nice!

hmm interesting. There are many possibilities here. there is a mate in 5 as well.
1. Qh6+ 1.Ke8
2.Ng7+ 2.Kf8
3.Ne6+ 3. Ke8
4.Qf8+ 4.Rf8
5.Ng7#
houkrauss
The king can`t take in f8 because there are a N in e6 checking that square :)
I was referring to the puzzle put forth by prativa_pralh , not the regular Daily puzzle . This move list is posted as the solution
1. Qh6+ Ke8 2. Qg7 Rf83. Qxf8+ Nxf8 4. Ng7# ,
on move 3 , there is nothing stopping one from playing Kxf8 instead of Nxf8 and thereby deflating the attack
