Pity that on my computer there are 2 boards, one immediately below the other.  The pieces on each board are in the same place, and I drag the knight on the top board.  The move is accepted, but then the computer does not make its move.  Shame, because it looks an interesting puzzle!  I will come back to it tomorrow.

Is it just my browser, or do yours load mate in 52?

Yeah, I'm having some issues with this one as well. I have two boards and one 1/2 works but after the first move the computer doesn't respond. Puzzle seems relatively simple.

cool puzzle had to solve it mentally. Figured the checkmate finisihed with the rook. The knights moves were obviously going to be instrumental tosetting up the rook mate.

It's not working on my comptuer with either google chrome or IE.

With best defense by black it is a checkmate in five.

On 1. Nf7+ Kg8 2. Nd8+ Kh8 3. Qe8+ Ng8, if 4. Qxg8+ then 4...Kxg8 5. Re8+ is not checkmate because of 5...Bf8.  No checkmate.
