    You are right.  I thought briefly of 1.Re8+ Qxe8, but didn't follow it any further, because I immediately saw the 1.Qc7+ Qxc7 sequence that would let me move Re8+ without the rook being captured.

    Black Queen can not go to e8, but d8. Which will be mate by same move, Rf5++
